In 1980, David Geffen signed Summer as the first
act for his new label, rescuing her from a bad financial arrangement
with her management and Casablanca.
It is an outstanding album received favorably by the critics, but
The Wanderer did not prevent loss of much of Donna's popularity.
The song The Wanderer only made it to #6 on the dance charts.
best cuts: "Running for Cover" - "The Wanderer".
